Paul and Kathy take pride in assuring that your stay at Hooge Haus is as pleasant and comfortable as possible. The following are the amenities and services available during your stay at the Haus:
All beds in Hooge Haus are pillow top beds with high quality linen and down comforters. Three bedrooms have king beds that can be uncoupled into 2 single beds; therefore 6 single beds. Three bedrooms have queen beds. The loft has 2 single brass beds as well as a youth bed. This is ideal for groups that have lots of singles. We also have a single pull-out bed in one of the main level areas and a queen sleeper sofa in the caretaker unit. Please note that the caretaker unit is not part of the 5 bedroom/ 4 bath option.
There are three flat screen TV’s set up with Netflix, Hulu and a premier cable package. Free high-speed wireless internet is available throughout the Haus. There is an extensive DVD movie collection, lots of board games and a reading library in case there is a part of a day when you just want to relax and hang-out in the Haus.
In the winter you can build snowmen and snow forts as there is plenty of room and in the summer, the gardens and ground patio are beautiful. The 1000 square feet of decks gives you plenty of space to relax and enjoy the stunning 360° views of the surrounding mountains. The natural gas stainless steel grill on the deck is great for outdoor barbecues!
There is free parking on the premises, for 4 cars in the winter and 6 cars in the summer. In the winter a stop for the free shuttle to/from the base area is directly in front of the Haus. The skier easement to the West Wall quad lift is ~50 ft to the north of the Haus. In the summer it is 6 minute walk to the bus stop to catch the free shuttle into town only 2.5 miles away.
Other amenities include gas radiant heat, washer and dryer, gas log fireplace, two jetted tubs and two fully equipped kitchens.
We can provide concierge service to help with local restaurant, theater, spa and transportation bookings/reservations.
We can arrange, for a fee, to have a caterer/private chef help you with cooking.
We have a massage table on the premises and a massage therapist can come to the house.
If you give us a grocery list ahead of time, for a fee, we can have the groceries stocked for you.
If you are not familiar with the slopes of Crested Butte Mountain Resort, Paul is always willing to take anyone in the group for a free 1/2 day skiing tour of the mountain.
We can remind you in October to purchase your discounted lift passes or, if you book during the season, you can purchase multi-day lift tickets and we can pick them up for you.
If you are not familiar with where the shops are, we can take you up to the base area to help you get your rental equipment.
We will have trail maps and “things to do” on the counter when you arrive. Also, check out the events calendar on our site.
